You are also a prick.

Just from reading your race recap and watching your interview with Andy I'm a bit surprised how shocked everyone was that he won. Granted, I am surprised he beat Knight, but everyone acts like he is a total unknown.
He was a two All-American in cross country and a part of two NCAA title teams even though he is more of a miler-3k type. You act like just because 35th was his highest finish in cross that it blows your mind that he could win the 3k on a track. He's like a more consistent and reliable version of Elliot Heath - another miler-3k stud who went on to win an NCAA title at 3k.
He ran 7:48 earlier in the year and outkicked Grant Fisher. He finished third at Wisco in cross behind Knight and Fisher. He is not an unknown. He was not a superstar right away like a lot of others, but as he alluded to in his interview - he has been consistently improving for multiple years now and has stayed healthy. He ran 8:52 of high school when he didn't start running until late in HS as he previously was a swimmer.
He also made the 5k finals at USA's last year when he redshirted and has a 3:38 1500 pb.

Anybody else see this guy stick his tongue out at somebody on the final turn only to stumble on the inside bar? What a loser
Do you guys seriously think he was sticking his tongue out at someone in that moment? He stuck it out in a moment of focus and concentration (channeling his inner MJ?) as he was a bit pinned on the rail by Knight in that moment (which is why he tripped on the rail). I noticed this watching it live and it never crossed my mind he was goofing around. Get real.
I did not think he was celebrating either. I also do not think sticking your tongue out would cause you to trip. I really do not see how that makes sense.
I can’t tell what he was doing. I can tell that nobody will underestimate him again.

I'm not Justyn but I can see why you would think that. I'm just a guy who thinks Andy Trouard is a loser for doing what he did, it was an impressive race though
He was actually the only runner in the race that was not a loser.
+1

It was a badass move, especially because Knight was still trying to pass him as he did that. That was a show of extreme confidence. He did stumble then, but since he recovered and won all is well.
"badass move"?
More like an amateurish move.
To hear that story of how he got started in running, three state swimming medals and a state soccer championship, followed immediately by 3 state individual titles his first track season and then a xc state title his first year (as a senior), and an 8:52 tells you that this is an incredible talent. Knight's kick is no joke, they had both run the 5000m already, and Trouard obviously knew at that moment that he had weathered his kick and had more in the tank, like Ovett on many occasions and Coghlan at the 1983 World Championships. Of course he shouldn't have taken his eyes off the track at that speed on the turn indoors, but what's funny is that in the interview as he's denying that he remembers what he was doing at that moment, he unconsciously sticks his tongue out and licks his lips, so his subconscious or unconscious was aware of what he'd done, I am sure. Have fun with it for a guy who'd never won an NCAA individual title before and didn't really expect to do that even if he was telling himself he could. Has a bright future and looks a little like Teg.

I KNEW someone would be stupid enough to make your exact reply.
lol.
I don’t know anyone who are acting like he is a complete unknown, let alone “everyone”.

What?! Lmao. He literally smiled and stuck his tongue out at someone in the crowd (most likely a teammate) bcuz he knew he had the win. I wouldn’t call it celebrating either but it definitely wasn’t channeling inner MJ hahaha
