It's hard to call a guy who is the world leader in the 60m hurdles and top 10 in the world in the long jump under the radar but I don't think people realize how much of a superstar Grant Holloway is or could become.
He very well may be the future superstar of our sport. And not only is he talented, he's one of the best interviews. He's very engaging, courteous and much more.
In addition to hurdling and long jumping, he's on Florida's 4x400 team which could break the world record. He high jumped 2.16 as a sophomore in high school.
Here he is after Day 1 of NCAAs:

Just interesting to hear speak. And to top it all of I hear he's active volunteering in the community.
Maybe I'm getting carried away but it got me thinking is he as good an athlete as Ashton Eaton? Probably carried away for sure now as Eaton has a better LJ PR and ran the 400 45.00 in a decathlon 400, but Holloway high jumped higher than Eaton ever has as a sophomore in high school and it's not even his second event.
Thoughts?
