Laura Muir and her coach reportedly said in an interview that they do not even speak to Genzebe Dibaba since the event in Spain two years ago. Muir is quoted saying, "It can be difficult, but I think I’ve always said that no matter who is on the startline, I’ll race against them."
It's interesting that she can call out a speculated drug cheat with no doping offenses and then deny a question from last year about whether Semenya denied her a medal at the WC due to to her KNOWN advantage over the rest of the women.

What irks me a little is that if the Jama Aden bust was so obvious and clean cut why has their been no progression in the legal case? In the court of public opinion he is as guilty as sin and we have renowned international athletes such as Jenny Simpson and now Laura Muir revealing they believe wrongdoing by Dibaba.
Surely if Jama Aden was caught disposing of EPO syringes in the surrounds of the hotel as claimed then it is an open a shut case - so what is missing here? Have the general public been misled in order to support a narrative of sensationalism? - From what I’ve read it seems impossible he could have a decent and above board explanation for the situation, - note that I said “from what I’ve read” Perhaps there is another totally differing version of events that do not fit the doping narrative, - who knows?
But I do Find the whole hypocrisy with selective doping allegations to undermine “truth” This is especially prevalent within Great Briton. For example take LizMccolgan, she calls out Ayana As a doper every time she runs. Whilst at the same time congratulating Mo Farah for his performances. Also for a person who claims to be a crusader for clean sport, she has never criticised Jama Aden. I found this to be baffling until I discovered she knows Aden and is friends with him on Facebook !
What I take away from scenarios like this is that it is easy to doubt athletes you have no personal relationship or contact with. Most athletes - both past and present along with pundits within GB all know each other and mix at promotional & gala events. It’s very difficult to mistrust someone you mix with if they present as a decent person. Much easier to cast aspersions on an athlete if there are language and cultural divides and no personal connections.
I have noticed that none of Dibabas competitors acknowledge her at all which must be extremely awkward on the circuit and in the call room etc.
