Our cc coach told us what Vince sanctions were with national. Those sanctions have a few of us fball coaches worried about what kind of punishment would happen if a real sport did anything like that. We all know Buddy got 2 games for throwing a punch. We still think you guys sit down to pee.
Someone I know told me that the school isn't going to do anything until the new fiscal year starts in July. They're very annoyed he lawyerd up expect decisions to really start being made in a couple weeks. I don't know if that means they'll just be keeping him or not but I've heard they're not the most pleased with him

That gets you a Season 4 on Netflix with that kind of behavior.

Sorry what did I miss? I was busy sueing schools and filling out unemployment applications, whats up.
didnt miss anything still nothing but alot of speculation/gossip and you have those pro DeGrado and those who are hoping still months afterwards hoping he gets fired, the junior college that has always been a joke now exposed for taking a p#ss sitting down.
I do agree you take opinion of DeGrado out of it he really is one of the best distance coaches ever, any other sport no one would care, people in positions that new better should of just kept their mouths shut and followed the rule books and Allens other athletic programs started to look better not good but better a few years ago but their stats have been declining each year again.....they should be annoyed at the poor performance of their overall athletic programs as a whole and get an AD in their that can get the job done.
Doesnt matter how it gets spun. Degrado needs to be fired or resign. If the President and AD did questionable stuff they need to be fired to and if members of njcaa were involved they need to be held accountable.
it was a good meet. jamaican shain hyde did a great wind assisted 100,and a few guys ran close to 10 flat, with a lot of wind assistance.khance meyers 200 run was a jaw dropper, and kasaun james wasnt far behind.they were wind assisted a bit,but 20.02 is super quick. jamaican sean bailey did a great job in the 400,running 45.51 and another jamaican marvin williams won the 400 hurdles in 49.60.ned azemia from seychelles was second in 49.82.derek holdsworth did a great 800/1500 double, but he was way outside his pb's,and ran only fast enough to win.the kenyan esther gitahi ran a great 10'000,running 36.19.25 but she ran second to israeli adva cohen in the 1500,and 5000.adva won 3 events, and ran fast enough to win,but way outside her personal bests. south african thobile mosito won the 5000/10'000 double in 15.10,and 31.32.canadian natassha mcdonald won the womens 400,and nercely soto of venezuela won the 200.andrea foster of guyana won the 800,in 2.09.78,and nicolee foster won the 100 and 400 hurdles double..
jesus outside of old man derek this looks like an international showcase.

Lol what. In what world is degrado one of the best distance coaches ever. He might not even be one of the best distance coaches in the Njcaa right now. That is a rediculous statement.
Probably a stupid question but why no Cali teams at nationals?

I agree hes not the one best distance coach ever that's absurd statement to make for anybody. There are way too many coaches out there doing great things to say that. Too many variables to take into account. However I disagree he is one of the best in njcaa and has been for the last 10yrs. He has a proven record that works year end and year out and he won at a school who support athletics at cowley then is doing it at a school that didnt have a distance program. The amount of times his kids drop is insane. Our Head Coach has been asking about him only issue is this current law situation.
i forgot to mention nicolee foster is from jamaica, and so were the girls who ran second, third, and fourth,in the 100 hurdles.a lot of good internationals run in the njcaa.
Alot of great internationals making bad coaches look good.
Barton County is back! Their men ended South Plains reign at the top! Dave Schnek and Tony Davis rebuilt that into a well oiled machine and when Tony left and Markquis Frazier and Romuro Henry picked up where Tony left off. It's good to see them boys bring home the championship!
international or not you still have to coach an athlete maybe not as hard depending on age and fitness of the athlete but there is still some coaching involved. Any guess on which jucco school will load up the most with internationals in the upcoming seasons?

I'll agree to that still have to coach them, the age is the issue with it all. Shouldnt even be about internationals especially this day and age. The winner of juco mens xc was American who was graduated in 2010 then 7yrs later is running against kids. I think the usually suspects will try and load up. Cloud loses their 2 head monster that got them track titles but i bet they have more coming in they seem to be on the cusp of winning their region and Colby is getting back to their old form. Iowa Central, South Plains will have their fair share as usual. New Mexico JC seems like entire roster is foreign but they care more about the track side of things. Be interested to see if anybody can beat Iowa Central after they swept it all. Cowleys women return a heavy FR class that finished 3rd. Their program is finally back.
are they bad coaches, though? i mean, njcaas is full of athletes who couldnt get a regular athletic scholarship at an ncaa, either because their grades werent up to scratch,or else they werent fast enough.also many njcaa athletes are well in their 20s,some are in their 30s,probably working full time, and studying as well.its an all age competition, not like ncaa.
All schools have the same set of rules as far as internationals go. I do understand that there tends to be large age gaps in NJCAA but everyone has a voice if you dont like that rule speak up and if you are not willing to speak up against something you would like changed than in my opinion you just want a reason to justify why you got beat....however would love to see Colby without international runners for a few seasons and see just how they would do then.
