If we think this through people we should figure out that she is not actually “running” at all.
Yes the treadmill is traveling at 22mph, but she is only completing half of the running motion. That exercise teaches the nervous system and muscles to react at that high rate of speed, but she lacks the power and form required to actually propel herself that quickly unassisted.
She is merely getting her legs back in front of her quick enough not to fall, the treadmill then pulls her along at 22mph. Much like running down a steep hill, just keep your legs moving and let gravity do the rest.
She cannot run 22mph unassisted, so the claim is bogus. But we shouldn’t doubt that she can keep her legs moving on a 22mph treadmill. My guess is most of you can as well especially if you “trained” for it as she had.
