So if you think they are cheating, do you race barefoot? Why not? Any shoe makes you faster than barefoot, so you are cheating, you just have a bar of cheating and how much you are willing to cheat?

How many Nike employees are trolling this site?
Judging by the comments here, at least 5-10. I hope they're at least being paid well.
Nike doesn't need to promote a shoe that's always sold out to a bunch of poor/cheap LR trolls that aren't in their target demographic.

What is behind the limited production? Keeping the hype alive to attempt to justify the ridiculous price, or is the shoe simply that hard to produce?
According to Nike they got restock today in a new color, I checked the site and they were sold out by 8am (when I checked), I guess I should of tried at midnight, this is crazy, I want to try this shoe, it should not be that hard to buy a running shoe. Take my money Nike, make more please.
Bump.
Next restock anyone?

Vaporfly 2 will be making an appearance SOON. Hang onto your money. Hopefully all those a$$holes that price gouged the original on eBay get stuck with them.

Any ideas on the timeframe? I’ve been only racing my Vaporflys, training in Zoom Flys and other flats. So far, only 70 miles, one marathon, two halfs and some shorter races. They should last me until the end of the year when I’m ready for replacement...
Btw, anybody who says placebo effect, never run in them... Just running halfs in them, I instantly knock off 15-20 secs/mile of my pace... Never felt so fresh the next days after running my BQ marathon, 21 minutes under, in the Vaporflys. They are for REAL!!! Zoom flys are fast, too, but not as fast as Vaporflys. I used them for training and road ultras only, as they are definitely more durable;)

Someone doesn’t understand the concept of placebo...
Late September or early October is the rumor I heard out of Portland. So, you can wait until then to buy the originals cheaper or buy the second generation for an inflated price. Saw a prototype of the second generation and it's flyknit so I don't know if that's your thing or not.
I personally love the 4% shoes. So good I named my first born after them
I've been looking at ebay to find a pair as I'm really keen on trying the 4%. The prices are ridiculous!!! People trying to benefit from the hype I guess. but today some guy in Italy had a new pair out for 220 US in my size! Including shipment it ended up at 235 US. Couldn't be more happy! Looking forward to try them!
I am selling two new pairs of vaporfly in the black colourway ( US9) and the grey colourway (US8.5) . If you´re interested please feel free to contact me per e- mail : beekhadler@web.de
Any news from the Nike shills on the next 4% restock?
Cheers.
Spikes make a negligible (if any) difference in distance running, whereas the 4% have proven benefits. So my question is, what's the shortest distance you could possibly benefit from wearing these, ie would these Nikes improve mile or 3k track times, versus wearing spikes?
You’re selling the crap shoes Vaporfly Zooms, not the 4% referenced in this thread.
So using technology is now a lack of morals? Sounds like sour grapes to me.

I heard October for the Zoom Fly, January 2019 for the 4%ers.

Yes it is a lack of morals .
You should be only be qualified and to clip into skis with Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers like me in downhill competitions .
We have Jan '19 as the next V4% restock date...any advances on this date?
Ciao.

How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
