Thoughts? Maybe some shorter Asians have been more successful.

Hmmm, great point. Ryan Seacrest is just everywhere though. Every time I turn the TV on and some new live show is out, there's Ryan Seacrest.
Almost every actor is under 5'7". Seacrest is barely 5' tall. All celebs add at least 5" to their actual height. I could fit Tom Cruise in my pocket.

Came here to post this, even though Napoleon's (lack of) height has been exaggerated (he was 5'7" as well).
All three are more successful that Danny Divito and MiniMe.

Almost everyone was short 1000+ years ago, so basically any name we still know today from ~1000AD or earlier can be assumed to be a more successful short person. Jesus was almost definitely shorter than Ryan Seacrest (the average male at the time was 5'1", so some mention of Jesus' height would appear in the text if he was even 5'7", as this would have been abnormally tall).
5'7" was average height in the early late 18th and early 19th Centuries.
Actually early hunter gatherers were fairly tall. People didn't start to shrink until people started farming. Grains and carbs made people shorter and fatter.

Ok, but we don't really have any history of anyone from hunter gatherer times who could be considered "successful," so I stand by my assertion that anyone whose name we know today who existed prior to 1000AD could be assumed to be a successful short person.
