Looking for people who have been through the process or have experience in the field. I’m in my last semester of graduate school and am coaching distance. I have my own event group that has excelled for our university, broken numerous school records, And helped guided the guys team to the programs first ever national championship appearance and conference championship. From what I have heard coaching is hard to get into and a lot of the time you have to know somebody. Basically what I’m asking from other previous GA’s or head coaches is if this is enough to get me in the door? Recruiting has been awesome and have gotten good numbers. What do you look for in a potential assistant? GA’s, how did you get your first gig out of graduate school?
