This is an NCAA matter, not for FBI or justice dept. No evidence of throwing games = Boston College scandal.

Ask Al Capone.
Their time would be better spent investigating the ncaa itself.
You're joking, right ? National wire fraud and mail fraud investigating are some of the main things that FBI performs. If it goes state to state, no matter what kind of crime it is, it is a homeland matter.
Rape, murder, theft, kidnapping, blackmail, bribery, extortion, racketeering, etc, if it occurs state to state, it falls under the FBI.
shoulda used crypto (Bitcoin etc)
next time they'll know
Personally would like to see their focus on catching domestic and foreign terrorists. But since their reputation is next to tarnished they might as well show people what they are good at. That is investigating crimes that don't matter to regular citizens.
because the universities receive federal funds. It's a very wishy washy statute. Check out the complaint in the louisville case.
It was further a part and object of the conspiracy that RASHAN MICHEL, the defendant, would and did corruptly give, offer, and agree to give something of value to a person, namely, assistant coaches at various National Collegiate Athletic Association ("NCAA") Division I men's basketball programs, intending to influence and reward an agent of an organization
that received, in a one-year period, benefits in excess of $10,000 under a Federal program involving a grant, contract, subsidy, loan, guarantee, insurance, and other form of Federal assistance, in connection with a business, transaction, and series of transactions of such organization, involving something of value of $5,000 and more, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 666(a) (2).

If the moneys being paid are being reported on tax returns where is the harm/foul/law breaking? What is difference (federally) Adidas paying a college athlete versus a non-college athlete (notice I didn't say pro).

So, if I understand you correctly, you are positing that paying kids less money than I make in a year to further enrich prestigious coaches, administrators and universities does not equate to homicide?!? For shame, you heathen!
Easier to catch than school shooters I suppose .
