2nd marriage, much younger wife. I have two grown children from my first marriage.
Anyone ever have this done? How long did it take you to recover? Was it successful?
Thanks in advance.

Not a chance, gramps. Your best bet is getting a surrogate, virile and well-hung. You can also film the act for your entertainment, and I'm sure your wife will enjoy it too.
Michael Scott (of The Office) did:
Michael Scott: When I said that I wanted to have kids, and you said you wanted me to have a vasectomy, what did I do? And then, when you said that you might want to have kids, and I wasn't so sure, who had the vasectomy reversed? And then when you said you definitely didn't want to have kids? Who had it reversed back? Snip, snap! Snip, snap! Snip, snap! I did! You have no idea the physical toll that three vasectomies have on a person!

pics? because i'll happily breed your wife if we get the paperwork together & I get to keep videos.
DM me, pops.
Your second wife wants an anchor baby. She wants to "legitimize" your marriage with the connection of a shared child and secure a connection to you and/or your bank account for at least 18 years. Possibly she wants the experience of the longest 9 months of her life + 18 years. I think you have to weigh your 2nd wife's insecurities against your desire to not be broke and 60+ at your last kid's high school graduation.
I think it is common to do the anchor baby thing, but I do think it is usually a couple trying to convince themselves they aren't going to get divorce this time. I know a couple that have kids from 2 priors on her side and 1 on his and they seem overly concerned about landing another one with each other. I say let it go. You got the rings, license and shared bed, let it go.
Get her a small dog. I hear those are cool.

The alternative to a reversal is in vitro fertilization. You are still making "swimmers." They just aren't getting very far.

Maybe it is Nikeman.
I did, but it was about 25 years ago and I'm sure things have gotten easier. No coverage under our Health Insurance either. I was unable to run for two weeks because they didn't want the interior stitches to possibly rip. I was in some pain for 2-3 days, but then my daughter jumped on my lap which extended the pain an additional day. I suggest using a bag of frozen peas (no pun intended) between your manly parts and sweatpants.
Regrettably, it didn't work. Good luck to you.
Another thought. You can always call every urologist you find until you get one that says you shouldn't do it. Report back that doc says its a no-go and shop for dogs.
Ignore the trolls that got in heat just at the mention of a younger wife. I suppose you might be trolling too given that you didn't have the foresight to address child bearing before marriage, but we guys are dumb, so maybe your legit. Good luck either way.
Or, if you have enough space on your property, a stallion.
Get a small valve put in that you can turn on/off....
