Hi, I am a male high school senior and I would like to know what I will run a 5k this Saturday in. My goal is sub 17.
During the summer before xc I ran up to 60 mpw, and during the season my times were mostly 17:20-35 with a pr of 17:07.
This winter so far I have run an average of 50 with 57 last week.
Workouts have been mostly tempo runs.
4 Mile Tempo: 5:55
5 Mile Tempo: 6:02
7 Mile Tempo: 6:10
Do you guys think I can break 17? I think I can but I'm just not sure..
