Young people grow from the time we have soft bones, to the time youth have bones with multiple soft spots for growing. Power lifting may raise testosterone levels naturally. High testosterone levels from power lifting may harden bones early. One may not reach growth potential. I did not speak in absolutes. Yes, there are 7 footers who power lifted as youths. Power lifting, you may lower the probability of reaching your height potential.
