Relatively easy first lap, then 2nd lap 3 seconds faster than 1st lap and lap 3 will copy lap 2. Typical mile is too fast first lap then much slower 2nd lap and lap 3 copies 2nd lap.
Run it like it's the last and let the real last lap take care of itself.

Correct answer. I kept feeling the burn on the last lap and was afraid I'd fall apart. Once realize you can run the whole last lap with your legs on fire, you're at you best.
I still was getting my butt kicked, but at least I knew I was doing my best.

Probably not ideal I tend to run faster when I save something for the last lap. Might just be the fact that I'm more of a5k guy?
