I'm a senior in High school this year and ran my only indoor race of the season a few weeks ago. It was the only race really in proximity that I could race in as we don't have an organized indoor season in my state. But the question I have is about my confidence in my ability after I run personal bests. I ran an 11 second pr in the 1600 (4:40) with really just easy runs, long run, and a fartlek once a week. But I have noticed that after that, even already the day after, I feel as if it was a fluke and I'm not in that good of shape anymore. This happens to me after every big race that I have. Does anyone else feel this way? Or could anyone offer some help as to how to stop this thinking?
