What is the best treadmill on the market today? Save the treadmills suck, run outside, etc. I am well aware of that reality and completely agree.

Woodway
Just don't buy a NordicTrack...customer service for any real problem is a nightmare.
They will delay and obfuscate and frustrate you to the limit. Had to threaten legal action from the AG to get any movement. Never again. They sent me a plain corrugated cardboard box to put the several hundred pound treadmill in for shipping.
I detest them.
Kind of expensive, but the best bang for the buck for an in-home treadmill. Ours is 15 years old and is still going strong, even though I've put 500-1000 miles on it per year. Their lifetime warranty is the real deal. Over the years, virtually every part other than the frame has been replaced -- motor, roller bearings, motherboard, platform, belt, etc. And all it has ever cost us is the fee for coming out to our house ($100 maybe) and they end up tuning it up for us then too. Not that it needs service often. FWIW, Consumer Reports ranks them at/near the top of their list.

Agree. But you'll pay twice the price of next tier:
Precor, Landice, True, are all great at half the cost.
Also buying a Woodway is a pain; there's no local dealers. When I was considering purchasing they wanted to charge another several hundred dollars on an already extremely expensive treadmill. I like that I was able to buy my top of the line Precor, negotiate standard 10% discount, and have it delivered/set up, and have a local service center if I do have problems. But after 7 years and 3000+ miles I've had none.
