So I have an important meet on monday(state meet) when usually I've had meets on saturday which works well for my training. I run six days a week so I was wondering when I should take a day off on saturday or sunday for my monday meet or just take no days off.
Normal routine-
Monday: 4 miles @5:50
Tuesday:8x200 @29
Wednesday: 4 easy miles @6:40
Thursday: 4 mile run with three outstrides @6:20
Friday: 2 miles @5:40
Saturday: Race
Sunday: Off
This week:
Monday: 5 miles @6:25
Tuesday: 4 miles @5:55
Wednesday: 8x200 @29 with 200m jog rest
Thursday: 3 miles @6:45
Friday: 3 miles @5:20
Saturday: off
Sunday: 2 miles @6:00
Next Monday: Race
