Started running about 31 weeks ago. Was 180lbs and now 134lbs. Ran around 45 miles a week for a few months before jumping it up to 65-70 for 6 weeks. Ran 10:23 then 10;18 in consecutive weeks before going into interval workouts. Pretty sure I will be under 10:00 in my final 3 races.
Here’s the question, how much time could I shave off my 3K time by next indoor season? Remember I have not ran in 19 years prior to starting last July. My mileage plan is to float between 70-90 miles a week from March to Next indoor.
Is it possible to shave a minute off in a year since I’m just coming back to running?
