Male, 32. HM coming up on Feb 25. The distance is almost flat. Forecast says 50 degrees.
My key workouts:
- Saturday (15 days out): 3k time trial. Was going for sub-9:30 but had to withdraw with stomach problems with 350 to go (garmin said 8:20 at that point).
- Wednesday (11 days out): 8x800 on track in 2:40, 2:39, 2:38, 2:38, 2:37, 2:36, 2:35, 2:32 (moderate winds 12-13 mph).
- Today (9 days out): last tempo session on track which consisted of 5k (with 200m/2 min walking rest) immediately followed by 3x1600 (with 200m/2 min walking rest in between) in 17:43, 5:35, 5:36, 5:36.
