20 minute tempo run.
16x200s @800m pace w/200m walking rest my fav
As a rust buster? N*gga you crazy. For a rust buster:
8-10 x 30 sec hills @ 800 effort with walk down
8-10 x 200's at @ 800 pace
12-14 150's, getting faster each 50
100/200/300/400 ladder @ 800 pace w/ same jog/walk rest
These workouts will only really be effective if you already put in the winter base mileage, imo. If not then get on some tempo/tempo interval workouts before you get into the faster stuff.
