I think some of the jumps and moves and sustained effort in the long programs of ice skating are rather impressive.
The ski jumps and flips in free style skiing are pretty amazing too.

Technical Skill: Slalom skiing
Physical Conditioning: XC ski
Ballz: Snowboard halfpipe
Difficulty: Toss-up between Super G and XC ski
Ballers: Skeleton
Chickworld: Ice skating/dancing/NBC coverage in general
But the entire thing is just variations of sliding on ice and snow, and is essentially moronic.
Nordic Combined for the combination of endurance, strength (XC skiing), and technical skills, courage (ski jumping). It's too bad it's a bit fringe (sure, few places where you can practice both events). I also like the format, that they jump first, and then there's a staggered XC start. Some of the greatest athletes like Hannu Manninen and Felix Gottwald were mediocre at ski jumping, and then used to power through the whole field to some epic victories.

no argument with your first two, but for Ballz it's a tossup between halfpipe and downhill;
you really have to have guts to let it go on the downhill. Steep, ICE at the world cup level.
Check out the gate setters and sweepers on a downhill sometime; they're wearing ice
climbing crampons... that should tell you everything you need to know.

yeah but the downhill course at this year's Olympic games is rather boring. check out the Streif in Kitzbuehel, Austria, most famous downhill race:
