I see this in my circle of friends as well.
When they're 20, the say: "I have to finish college first and want to have fun"
When they're 25, they say: "I just started my professional career, also want to have fun"
When they're 30, they say: "I just got done with grad school, have tons of debt, also want to have some fun"
When they're 35, they say: "I want to develop my career some more, also need to find the right partner, not in a rush"
When they're 40, they say: "I've had 3 rounds of IVF, no luck so far. Wish I had started earlier"
Listen: having kids is never easy and there is never a "right time". But female fertility peaks at mid-20's and drops off significantly by age 30. By age 35, it becomes an uphill battle.
Good luck, ladies. Happy Valentines Day!
