Alexi Pappas no longer with Nike?

She made the decision to represent Greece. There are consequences.

When Nike signed her she was not running for Greece. She changed the game and Nike did not like the change.

Man...people are hating on Pappas hard. She's quite different but she seems to have a positive influence on young runners. Why all the hate?

Because the runners are jealous they can't be moderately successful at multiple disciplines like Alexi Pappas. Because you have to admit that she has been moderately successful at multiple disciplines, even if she isn't the fastest or her creative works are not the best.

She called herself "world class" at both running and filmmaking so she will be judged by that standard.

Her short videos about running weren't moderately good, they were cringeworthy and bad. Her NYT articles were embarrassing. Abusing government connections to get citizenship to a country she's never been to for the purpose of getting into the Olympics she couldn't otherwise qualify for smacks of corrupt elitist privilege. She IS very successful, however she is highly overrated and doesn't deserve our praise.
