Just say'n.
For those of you on LRC that want the free gift of salvation, for those that don’t want to die and to go to hell; pray this prayer.
Believe these scriptures and pray the 2nd one, honestly and with contrition for your sins.
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Romans 10:9-13
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”[f]
I’ve seen too much spiritual happenings to not share this with you.
Choose God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Marriage is an outdated institution wrote:
Marriage screws men over. Women lose interest in sex and have a lower sex drive. Men owe child support and get screwed in divorce. If women earn a good living or are attractive it's worth it for men.
Marriage is the only fair way to have a family if you want kids. Choose wisely.
Wrong.
Men do NOT get screwed in divorce. This is a myth promulgated by the Poor Poor Pitiful Us - We Men Are Victims Society. Real men are not members.
Further, marriage is NOT the only fair way to have a family. In fact it is irrelevant. But those of you who are incapable of having a thought of your own (99+% of you) are indoctrinated to believe that.
I *kind of* got screwed over to the tune of owing $1200/month in child support for the next 15 years when our child will be living with me at least 2/3 if the time because I am the more responsible, better parent. It came down to difference in incomes... I work my ass off and my ex is voluntarily underemployed. So I see how the judge saw it... I get the most important thing- the parenting time- but I also have to pay child support in lieu of my ex going on welfare and having the taxpayers foot the bill... or, heaven forbid, be forced to work a little more.
The poster who said “choose wisely” got it right. I would marry again, but would be much more selective than my younger, more foolish self.
One more point for the men: use 2 modes of contraception if you really don’t want your spouse/partner to get pregnant, especially if you’re dealing with a suboptimally-conscientious person who may not think much of missing a day or two of the pill, or having the patch come off for a day or two. You may not find out until after the fact.
Thank you for sharing and God Bless you.
A huge part of the female population is bisexual and many women abhor sex.
The Southern Baptist Convention, the largest of the Baptist denominations and the single largest Protestant group in the U.S., believes that the Bible says practicing homosexuality is a sin, stating clearly that its members "affirm God's plan for marriage and sexual intimacy – one man, and one woman, for life. Homosexuality is not a 'valid alternative lifestyle.' It is not, however, an unforgivable sin. The same redemption available to all sinners is available to homosexuals. They, too, may become new creations in Christ."[21] Independent Fundamental Baptist churches (in general) also view homosexuality as sinful or unnatural.
Homosexuality is considered in the Roman Catholic Church teaching under two distinct aspects. Homosexuality as an orientation is not considered sinful, though is referred to, in highly technical language, as an "objective disorder" as it is seen as "ordered toward an intrinsic moral evil". The Church recognizes that homosexuality is an innate condition in most cases, not a choice, and therefore cannot be considered a sin.
Homosexual sexual activity, however, is seen as a "moral disorder" and "homosexual acts" as "contrary to the natural law". The same acts would be considered equally 'contrary to the natural law' if performed by heterosexual couples. "They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine effective and sexual complementary." It should be noted that the term 'disorder' is used several times throughout The Catechism of the Catholic Church to reference sin in general—e.g. venial sin, sin within marriage, the disorder of divorce, etc. All sin creates a dis-ordering of the direction and proper ordering of nature.

More laughing? Whoa, didn't expect that. You're not thinking into it enough. Where would anything come from if God did not speak this Earth into existence? Certainly, you aren't one of those who hold blind faith that NOTHING exploded into SOMETHING, are you?
Oh, so you believe that you are thinking? Seriously?
Let's see if I understand your thinking.
a) You do no think that NOTHING exploded into SOMETHING (love your use of all caps by the way - makes your argument much more convincing).
Therefore
b) There must be something known as God and this book (the Bible) must be God's word and everything that we can perceive must be dependent for its existence on the existence of God and the Bible.
Did I get your "logic" correct there?
LOL
Thanks - I'll be sure to use it more often, in addition to redirecting the question back to you :p
There is much scientific evidence proving that God's hand created existence; much more evidence than there is for anything else that describes how existence came about.
The design in this world is far too intelligent to have just happened on its own, or by accident.
The United Methodist Church (UMC) has a General Conference every four years to make decisions and when a decision is made, they add it to the Book of Discipline. From the 2016 Book of Discipline, the United Methodist Church Website cites multiple decisions on homosexuality. On the basis of membership, all persons are eligible to "attend its worship services, participate in its programs, receive the sacraments, upon baptism be admitted as baptized members, and upon taking vows declaring the Christian faith, become professing members in any local church in the connection"[82]. Regarding the ministry of the ordained: The practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching. Thus self-identifying homosexuals are not "to be certified as candidates, ordained as ministers, or appointed to serve in The United Methodist Church"[83]. Also, "ceremonies that celebrate homosexual unions are not to be conducted by our ministers nor in our churches"[84]. On the basis of funds, the UMC does not want any of their ministries' funds used or allocated to LGBTQ+ groups or organizations. Although UMC does not want the funds to be used to condemn any such organizations either.
Most churches that are within the Pentecostal Movement view homosexual behavior as a sin. The second largest Pentecostal Church in the USA, the Assemblies of God, makes its view clear on homosexuality in a position paper stating: "It should be noted at the outset that there is absolutely no affirmation of homosexual behavior found anywhere in Scripture. Rather, the consistent sexual ideal is chastity for those outside a monogamous heterosexual marriage and fidelity for those inside such a marriage. There is also abundant evidence that homosexual behavior, along with illicit heterosexual behavior, is immoral and comes under the judgment of God."
As of today 2/11/18 the majority of Christian religions do not allow The Gay Marriage.
Somehow I must have missed all of this "scientific evidence" in your argument. Maybe it's just me but all I see is one more vacuous post.
So, let's summarize your arguments so far.
1) You don't believe in the Big Bang theory therefore God, the Bible is the word of God, and nothing would exist without both the Bible and God.
2) The world is complex therefore God.
Yup, those sound like bullet-proof arguments to me!
LOL
While this is going on dating will be tougher for heterosexuals. But that is what the gay agenda wants. They would like
to wipe out all types of marriage other than The Gay Marriage.

Allowing gay couples to wed could further weaken the institution of marriage. Traditional marriage is already threatened with high divorce rates (between 40% and 50%), and 40.7% of babies were born to unmarried mothers in 2012. [50] [51] [116] Former US Senator (R-PA) and presidential candidate Rick Santorum stated that "Legalization of gay marriage would further undermine an institution that is essential to the well-being of children and our society.
Do we need to confuse future generations of Americans even more about the role and importance of an institution that is so critical to the stability of our country?" [137] Ryan T. Anderson, William E. Simon Fellow in Religion and a Free Society at The Heritage Foundation, said "In recent decades, marriage has been weakened by a revisionist view that is more about adults’ desires than children’s needs... Redefining marriage to include same-sex relationships is the culmination of this revisionism, and it would leave emotional intensity as the only thing that sets marriage apart from other bonds."

You responding to my ^this post, brah? If yes, what is your point exactly? I never said most Christian denominations DO allow or provide ceremonies for gay couples. I am well aware they do not and, much like the brah whose post I was ^this-ing to, I don’t think they should have to do so. While my personal view is that Christian denominations (and any other religion) that does not sanction gay marriages is based on an evil bigoted, backwards philosophy, I fully support their constitutional right to be evil bigots.
Yes, you read that correctly—people who are in the business of Religion (ie churches, temples, mosques, priests, bishops, imams, rabbis, etc, etc) have the constitutional protected right to be bigoted idiots.
Where this whole argument crosses the line is when we start talking about businesses / industries that everyone knows are not inherently religious in nature. If one starts down the path of saying that anything that has been traditional defined as a secular interaction can now be defined as an “expression of religion”—then we start to have serious problems and civil society begins to breakdown. To aupport the counter argument to this is to argue in favor of a Theocracy.
Yes it is true that 60% claim to back The Gay Marriage. However guilt has led to this also I think that lots of those folks who claim they are for The Gay Marriage are secretly against it. When one is faced with making a public statement, often people will go with the crowd. What sounds cool right now.
People try to compare it with the blacks getting their civil rights. However it's not close to the same thing.
Do people who steal money all the time have a civil right to do so? We really need to get people to think deeper
on this issue and not to vote for it because they feel guilty because of their own actions. Yes everyone is a sinner but we do not have to act on our emotions. What kind of a society will we have if we do that?
Gay marriage is a settled issue in the United States. The only way to outlaw it would be to pass a constitutional amendment. Good luck with that. You guys need to put your focus somewhere else.
Gays used to mean happy, they are trying to say subliminal that you will be happy if you are gay, they use the rainbow as their symbol a symbol that God used as a covenant that he would not destroy the world with a flood again, and gay pride parades pride is what made the devil fall and the bible say a lot about pride being evil.
