Oh, the common argument that the Bible is just a story. Haha. If neither the Bible nor God existed, there would be no life, no Earth, no universe, no anything.
You’re free to believe that, but you can’t use that belief to bar civil liberties from others based on their sexual orientation.

You're right, homosexuals should not have their civil liberties taken away from them, but often they interfere with a straight person's way of living. Continuing to favor the minority while they are living in this lost, eternally damned condition does not benefit anyone in the long term.

10 years ago, homosexuals were free to love whoever they wanted. They were free to live with whoever they wanted. They were even free to enter into a marriage contract with a member of the opposite sex. Basically, homosexuals had the exact same rights as heterosexuals. What they didn't have, was the right to change the definition of marriage from the union between a man and woman to the union of any two people.
The entire fight was not about civil liberties. It was about a word. It was about compelling others to provide moral approval by giving the word "married" to homosexuals who want to pretend they are married. It was an empty and meaningless victory.
Utah, one of the most resistance and conservative States on this issue, was willing to pass "civil union" laws for gay people. The gays turned it down, they wanted the word "married."

That’s not equality, no matter how you try to spin it.

Yes, have you notice in debates between gays/atheists and straights/Christians; most of the laughing is done by the immature gays/atheists? It is a fact that many gay/atheists just have not grown up yet. They may be smart but not mature. Therefore they are tee-hee-heeing all the way to the bank. Satan may win in this world but the Lord will win at the end of times.
That does not mean we will give up.
Perhaps most of the laughing is directed toward that which is most laughable.

Hey, I like that bullet-proof argument you offered there.
"There would be no life, no Earth, no universe, no anything if neither the Bible nor God existed. Because . . . because . . . because I said so! No wait, because the Bible says so!"

What? You haven't ever heard of "separate but equal"?

Except of course that homosexuals do not interfere with straight people's way of living.
Aside from that you make a very good point.

More laughing? Whoa, didn't expect that. You're not thinking into it enough. Where would anything come from if God did not speak this Earth into existence? Certainly, you aren't one of those who hold blind faith that NOTHING exploded into SOMETHING, are you?

Homosexuals and their push for "equality" often interferes with heterosexuals and their consciences, such as the argument over public bathroom usage. Also shown when bakers faced legal charges because baking a cake for a gay couple's wedding went against their religious beliefs.
It's almost as if the law takes away from freedom of religion just because of minority forces.

Oh, so you believe that you are thinking? Seriously?
Let's see if I understand your thinking.
a) You do no think that NOTHING exploded into SOMETHING (love your use of all caps by the way - makes your argument much more convincing).
Therefore
b) There must be something known as God and this book (the Bible) must be God's word and everything that we can perceive must be dependent for its existence on the existence of God and the Bible.
Did I get your "logic" correct there?
LOL
The entire page 6 of homosexuals and atheists is them just saying No, No, No like a little child to every argument the Christian brings up.
The fact is any argument they can bring up is a form of NO. Also notice that these people usually only have one sentence that they can use as an argument. Science proves that atheism is false and that homosexuality hurts humankind.
We have a lot to say, all they can say is NO, NO, NO.
But now 5% of the population can tell the other 95% how to live. What a sick society we live in.
Christians must keep fighting this.

Except that not a single logical argument has been put forth by the fairy tale crowd.

Huh, you know I’ve been to a lot of weddings and I have never seen cake served during the religious portion of the ceremony. It’s typically served during the reception—which is really just a big secular party—nothing religious about it.
I think it is disgusting but within the rights of someone who is in the business of Religion (a Priest, Preacher, Rabbi, Imam) to refuse to involve themselves in a religious act (like a religious wedding ceremony) if they choose. But, for someone who is involved in secular business dealings to use their religion as an excuse to discriminate violates the constitutional rights of others and should not be allowed.
If one defines baking a cake as a religious act, then anything can be defined as a religious act and all of the sudden the line between civil / secular interactions and religious interactions is blurred. We would then live in a theocracy where every aspect of civil interaction must adhere to religious dogma/ teaching.
You are basically saying we should be more like Iran. Is that what you really think? I am familiar with the argument that fundamentalist Christians often make about how they are “so much better” than Muslims because Muslims in Muslim countries often kill gay people with impunity and Right wing Christians in the US simply want to deny gays equal protection under the law—I hope you see the flaw in that argument and how that makes you very, very similar to what you likely refer to as “radical Islamic extremists”.

"Interferes with their conscience"? Really?
The issue of public bathroom usage is not entirely clear cut to me. I can see arguments on both sides.
The issue of having to provide services to others without prejudice regarding their sexual orientation seems more obvious. Perhaps if you were turned away by wedding cake makers due to the fact that they objected to your heterosexual lifestyle you might begin to understand. Sorry, but it really is obvious to anyone with the ability to empathize.
WHAT A LIAR. I CHALLENGE YOU TO ACTUALLY COPY WHAT I WROTE IN THE ORIGINAL POST I SENT THAT SAID THAT.
I NEVER WROTE THAT. WHAT A LIAR!!! THIS IS HOW HOMOSEXUALS, ATHEISTS, AND OTHER CHEATERS ACCOMPLISH THEIR OBJECTS. YOU CAN OPENLY SEE HOW ONE OF THEM IS ACTUALLY TROLLING AND ATTEMPTING TO USE MY WORDS TO WIN AN ARGUMENT. "LYING, LIARS, AND THE LIES THEY USE."
