How many American women have ran under 30:35 for a 10k on the track?
Off the top of my head, only two: Shalane and Molly.
OK people, with all of these sick women's half times, can people at least throw out the argument of "Paula has to be dirty because she ran 2:15:25. " Clearly a woman can run 2;15.
Answered my question... 2
Joyciline suddenly dropped like a stone!
Jepkosgei off the back quickly going in reverse
Is this an adidas only race?
Imagine how fast they'd be running if they had on the 4%? That's a joke people.
But adidas is crushing it.
Why aren't the pacemakers running the tangents? So far great pacemaking but they're running extra.
Caroline has beautiful form, too. Can she pull a surprise?
Women are slowing down. WR is 64:52. They are on 64:50 pace at 15k.
They've gone 15:13-15:20-15:33.
15 km 46:06 3:07 1:04:50
Men are on 58:42 pace at 12k.

Hutchings said they went through 10k in 27:48. That is so fast.
Karoki starting to stretch the field.
Love Karoki's form, unlike any other elite distance runner I've seen. His head doesn't even move up and down, no bounce to his stride whatsoever.

Supposedly the lead bikes are there taking shortest route and leaders are to follow them
Most recent split for women at 17k was 52:18 -- they're now behind WR pace (64:54)

Didn't Hutchings say one of these men is making his debut? Yimer? My god. Can you imagine that?
Do they pay appearance fees? I mean why wouldn't all of th3ese guys come to Houston and guarantee them 10,000.
