got to be the most out of shape collection of "runners" i've ever seen.
Looks like a good time was had. Prominently missing is Desmond and his post race outfit-this event just screams his name.
ON the books or IN the books?
whichever you prefer. you sound like the boss to me.
I like the guy with the heart rate monitor. That is classic.
triathletes...
Drat. I was in town for the RRCA Convention (Warehouse Dist.) and didn't know of this one. Would have beat the NOTC fun run and fais-do-do (a short, lightweight version of this, I guess!) all to hell.
Winner was around 35 high the 36 flat. 6 beers and 6 miles
i think NOTC wanted to keep RRCA away from the younger crowd...they wouldn't have gone to any of the seminars, speakers after that
RRCA folks were supposed to have a picnic that barathon might pass by, but i don't know if it happened
i forwarded the flyer to bart yasso in hopes that he'd come...i thought about putting them in the lobby of the hampton inn, but i thought that would be pushing it
come back next year
Also Javaman, If you are so fast then you would have beaten the guy who won the RRCA race. He won the barathon the night before too.
Hey Andrew,
See you guys tonight.
Cory:
I think what JavaMan was saying was that the Barathon would have beat the RRCA convention stuff. He wasn't referring to the footrace or the champion. Just the time had.
My bad
but yes, looking forward to tonight...if i can swing it, i'm going to try to run the race, too
how fast are you going out?
4:50
5:00 or faster.
