Please show me where it is verified that the dossier was essential in the issuance of the warrant.

Why was it submitted as evidence needed to wiretap a member of Trump's team were it not essential?
A litany of items of potential relevance are submitted. Do you have verification that the dossier was essential to the warrant issuance, as the other poster claimed?

Not sure why evidence known to be false would be submitted to FISA if it was not essential to selling the need for a wiretap.
Can anyone come up with a plausible explanation?

You clowns refuse to address the facts presented in Nunes' own memo. Page's Russian activity by itself was sufficient for probable cause standard to get a FISA warrant.
And then there's the simple fact the FISA request itself has never been declassified. Surprising no one, plenty of claims from hard Right fascist elements in Congress "suggest" whatever fear mongering thing they want to meet the end goal of shutting down Mueller's investigation.
It took another fascist to publish the claim that there is a non-specific footnote about a political source. Once again, Page's activity was more than sufficient to meet the low, low, low probable cause standard.
The bottom line, if Trump is so squeaky clean, then the investigation will prove that. Nunes' own memo actually supports the claim the FBI were doing their job in a legal manner.
Or, let the slow-motion Saturday Massacre continue, which, should be seen as a constitutional crisis initiated by far Right fascist elements.

You are a fascist troll making stuff up.

Realistic, but not necessarily plausible (opinions will vary): In a request like this you throw everything in. That's just how the process works. That's how they teach you, in school and at work.
But yeah, you'd have to dig pretty deep, I think, to substantiate the claim that the dossier was essential. From what I've read the key points seemed to be other things.
Small point (because I actually don't care about the whole subject, either way): "Unverified" is not automatically the same as "false." As I understand, most(?) if not all of the stuff in the dossier is unverified but most likely true. Which "evidence known to be false" were you referring to? Not the dossier as a whole, right?
Actually, whatever. I don't really care.

Have you even looked at the memo? It is only 6 pages, so you should be able to read it in a few hours.
There is NO evidence in the memo, there are assertions and a few speculations about what the FBI knees and when.
The Dossier was taken seriously because it was corroborating information from other sources... namely the Dutch and Australian intelligence agencies which had passed along info about Russian activities. The dossier was explicitly ‘raw intelligence’ and was treated as such. What is really striking about the memo is how many times the FISA warrant was renewed, showing that the original suspicions were corroborated to a large extent.
This whole "BOMB!" that the OP mentioned seems like pretty much of a popcorn fart, doesn't it?
One of the features of having an administration that generates stories on a daily basis is that last week's news stays last week. Rand Paul shut down the government? A memo was released? A countermemo wasn't? That was then; this is now. What shiny object can we be distracted by today?
I note in passing that DJT's approval rating has finally cracked the magic 40% barrier. I'm not the only one who thinks that the odds favor the GOP's retaining majorities in both houses of Congress this fall, and Trump's re-election in 2020; in fact I think the Republicans are likely to pad their lead in the Senate, and I've seen nothing yet from the Dems that makes me think they'll snatch 45(? I think it is?) electoral votes from the President in two years' time.

In other words, your answer is no, you cannot come up with any plausible scenario in which tainted evidence was presented to the FISA court if it was not essential to getting the warrant.
No need to go on for several paragraphs. You could just admit you cannot come up with any scenario,

Unverified presented as verified is in fact the same as false
The Democrats are always fearful of information being made public; of “Nothing Burgers” because they are not nothing burgers.
There are laws, statutes and regulations being violated.
This thread has proven otherwise.
Exactly - Who's afraid of releasing info again? Oh that's right, Trump and his cronies

You might be to make that argument (though it's not as clear-cut a legal proposition as you seem to think).
But not in this case, when the dossier was carefully and clearly presented as raw intelligence/unverified.

Did Nunes coordinate the memo with WH staff? Uh-oh - that's not legal!!!!
Ha ha remember when everyone thought this was going to mean something and I said it's nothing and nothing will come of it??? Yeah, that was like 2 weeks ago... nothing.
Trump won't be impeached
Nobody will go to jail over this memo. At most a few lower level folks will resign or be fired.. the world will move on to the next "crisis".

Life long democrat here but I really hope they keep the White House and Congress. Deregulation and cronyism will rise dramatically, just like in 2005 and 2006! The economy will tank hard around 2024 and I'll short whatever instrument Wall Street got too greedy with and then buy a mansion for a dollar.
