Running my first ever 3000m in 3 weeks and would like to break 10. Did 12x400 today with 60s walk recovery and 2 min walk recovery every 4 reps.

What would be a good fitness checker for next week? Maybe like 2xmile at goal 3000m pace or just try a straight up 2000m?
