By now we have all heard the news about this mornings "False Alarm" in Hawaii. Official story is an employee simply pushed the wrong button. Are you buying it?
Something tells me it can't be that simple. I highly doubt you can "accidentally" push a button like that. What do you think really happened?
I'm torn between two scenarios:
1. There was an actual missile that was intercepted. Alert went out as designed, but when the missile was intercepted they claimed false alarm in order to keep the near scare under wraps to prevent panic. Hole in this theory is one would assume the government would love a missile attack as a pretense for war. Perhaps military officials lied to keep Trump from over reacting?
2. Classic case of UFO triggering the alert system. Certainly could see how an extraterrestrial vehicle could trigger the alarm. But if this is the case, why not say it was accidentally set off by a weather balloon or a flock of seagulls? Perhaps by blaming an individual employee, faith in the military technology can be preserved. I suppose scenario 2a could be that it actually was a weather balloon that set it off but that seems less likely to me.
What do you think happened?
