Been doing a few pushups for a while, but coming off an unrelated injury I started doing more. Basically between other warmups I do 10 - 25 pushups for a total of around 125 now. I started varying the number recently for recovery like alternate days 125/50/125/50/0.
They seem to be a great c/v warmup before running and I am pleased to see some definition in my old scrawny arms.
Just wondering how many I should max at, is there a point of diminishing returns? I now vary the total number with some mods like diamond hands and dips to each arm. Hope to be able to do a one hand push up soon.
