Biggest half in the country. NYC. Pacers down to 1:20. Great course to PR on (net downhill but not obnoxiously so (150 ft drop) and zero hills on the back half). Coney Island hot dogs and beers post finish.
Time qualifications are 1:21 half/2:53 full (men) and 1:32/3:13 (women), age adjusted.
Get in! The race sold out in 26 minutes when it was opened to the public last year, so it's now or never.

Separately, anyone have experience racing a half one month after a full? (Boston's a month prior). Doable?
It'd be cool to get a LRC meetup going post race for the aforementioned dogs and beers if there's interest. Last year I got a giant beer and a dog at Nathan's. I had a great race, so it was fantastic post race experience, but I could have used some company.
