I'm thinking shorts, singlet and blue collar arm warmers aka tube socks.

I'm only running the half, but I'm going a sleeveless under armor compression style top under a singlet and a ball cap and gloves. Debated sleeves, but think I'm going to pass.
Absolutely perfect weather for racing. It literally doesn't get any better.
Singlet, shorts, light stocking cap, light gloves. Hat and gloves will likely be off 30-45 minutes in.

Agreed, and I am often a little chillier than the average person at slightly cooler temps. I'd be maybe wearing a dri-fit shirt rather than a singlet, but they key for me would be the gloves. Really helps when you are chilly at the start but know you will warm up quickly, and don't want to overdress. I would possibly wear a cheap light "winter" knit cap at the start and toss it as well. In these temps, it's really just all about extremities more than anything else. Get the cheap white painter's gloves and toss them a mile or two in.

Dude please wear some bottoms to hide your junk.
I’ll be sporting shorts, singlet, gloves, and a ‘Merican flag headband courtesy of my sponsor RRR.
The kicker is that the wind is going to be minimal too - it really is hard to ask for much better weather (although I am sure some would prefer another 5 to 10 degrees, but that is really about degrees of perfect (forgive the pun)).
Can anyone explain to me how the corral system works? I'm in the ADP group and this will be my first time at a major road race. I've read through the athlete guide, but I just want to hear from someone who's actually been there, done that.
For the ADP group, it says we need to be in our corral by 6:35AM. They also do not list the corral area for the elites and ADP on the map. Is it just the start line area? Is there an opportunity to shed layers right before we are escorted to the line at 6:58, or do we need to be in racing attire when we enter the corral?
Sorry if these are noob questions, but I'm a noob. That being said, I'll probably just go with a singlet, shorts, and light gloves. Maybe some arm sleeves, but likely not.

Same duds.
Virtually no headwind either. No excuses weather.
http://findmymarathon.com/weather/houston-marathon-weather.phpI ran my marathon PR under essentially identical weather conditions. Short, singlet, and lightweight gloves. I had a crummy long-sleeved shirt that I wore over the singlet for the first couple of miles and then tossed by the roadside.
37 degrees? There won't be anything to be seen!
This will be my first Houston, but the conventional approach on weather days like this is to bring some warm thrift store clothes or other clothes you won't mind losing and to wear them in the corrals until just a couple of minutes before the race and then discarding them. If you have time to get a cheap Tyvek suit, that will usually be enough to keep you warm and you won't have to feel bad about throwing it away ( https://www.amazon.com/DuPont-Protective-Coverall-Instructions-Elastic/dp/B0008F4HNS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1515266606&sr=8-3&keywords=tyvek+suits ).
Idk the answers to your questions but I watch your channel fam
Well, for you, a blue dress and a big smile!
They close the corral at 6:35.. you must be in there or you will be sent back to the A corral. Elites have their own corral/tent and have a different path to the starting line. You can shed layers but unless you have a support person with you (waiting at the start line) considered them a lost cause... get some hand warmers.. maybe a few layers from a thrift shop you don't care about. Good luck man.. watched your youtube vids.. looks like you're in great shape.
Also.. probably going shorts, singlet, arm warmers (don't hate.. I'm a southern boy) and maybe gloves.
Why not half tights at that temp?
I'm going half tights commando with board shorts over them, calf compression sleeves, 2 pair drymax socks inside Hoka Cliftons, compression wife beater with compression arm sleeves, Paul Menard racing gloves, head Buff, and Rupp approved face mask.
I’m running the half as well. I’ll wear a singlet, shorts, gloves, ear warmers, compression socks and Vaporflys.
Thanks for the answers everyone. I’ve got plenty of old clothing that I haven’t worn in years and never will wear again, so that’s the route I will go and just toss them right before the race. That’ll get more use out of them than they get currently.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
