Why is it called DELAWARE valley if it’s in Pennsylvania?
It is within the Delaware (River)Valley.

Yep, I think this is your most popular thread since arriving here, LoneStarXC. Well done. Let's get it to 2 pages.

Well, I hit reply, and it had already happened. 3?

On a side note - it looks like Lesley College may be one of the only schools in the country that has both a men's and women's team where the women's team is faster then than the men's in an absolute sense. I think that's more impressive.

Im going to go with Mitchell College. 27:33 average 5k time for their women at their conference meet, and 37:29 8k for their men!
Holy carp most high school teams would crush them in a dual meet

Holy sheet their men's team is horrendously bad. And it's not like their women's team is good either...
University of Phoenix. Too hot, no athletic program.
Brigham Young Univ. in Utah Valley. Stuck in concrete suburbia with no access to flat running trails, terrible retention and 4 yr graduation due to mission factor, frequent marriages among teammates, relies on Utah primarily to recruit, no appeal to minorities or LGBTQ+, always peaks too early
Chicago State University is pretty bad...
Clown College they don't take anything serious.

Faber College in PA. The coaches are probably not to blame. There is outrageous temptation to party rather than train and the town is run by the mob. Most of the students are there way beyond four years.
+1
As far as destroying talent, hands down Mick Byrne's version of Wisco.

He doesn’t just destroy talent, he destroyed a dynasty of a program.

Was hard to run in those shoes. Then they all had to fit in a tiny car for away meets.
Anyway, circuses are closing, no jobs for clowns so the Ringling Brothers clown college is closing.
Tennessee. Beth is an awful human being.
I’m not convinced that this is a meaningful discussion. There are countless colleges with no running program whatsoever. How can any college with a team, or even a running club, be “worse” than that?

What about Valparaiso and Evansville both of the state of Indiana.
I'll add a 3rd in the state of Indiana: Goshen College. Program went from being a national qualifying team to garbage now. Ran into the ground.
hard to disagree with this one-we used to cross the border and do a race in Canton NY (St. Lawrence U) and they made other schools look good!
