Since there’s a lot of worst d1 schools for running threads, I thought I’d make one for the worst colleges overall (d1-d3) for running. ?
Discus.

Potsdam. D3, no track program, and gets last at regionals every year. Back when I was running, their first guy wouldn't be top 7 on any other team in our conference.
For D1, wright state has to be up there. They get spanked by d3 ohio schools every year
Creighton
Jackson St.
Not idea on how good they are, but seems like a lousy place to train most of the year.
University of South Florida
Get wooped by NAIA teams and the coaches get to keep their jobs.
No scholarships maybe?
Better coaches do better with less.
Standford, everyone ends up injured.
Im going to go with Mitchell College. 27:33 average 5k time for their women at their conference meet, and 37:29 8k for their men!
What about Valparaiso and Evansville both of the state of Indiana.

Yikes! Dead last in a very slow conference!
Cool! I just noticed my thread is on the front page of letsrun! ?

If that school existed, I’m sure they would be terrible. Bad conditions for training. Maybe they can at least race against penguins, lol. ? ?
A well known school where they really don't care about you, its a meat grinder of a program that burns through bodies by doing brutally high mileage. If you get injured, oh well, there is always somebody to take your place.
College of Cardinals. Tough to run in those robes.
Delaware Valley University. But at least they have me as a coach!

Why is it called DELAWARE valley if it’s in Pennsylvania?
Faber College in PA. The coaches are probably not to blame. There is outrageous temptation to party rather than train and the town is run by the mob. Most of the students are there way beyond four years.
