Happy New Year everyone. I'm pleased to be back on the boards after barely even visiting the site over the last month while on a paternity break.
Since our employees had been picking up the slack, I decided coming back to work on NY eve and NY dad would be good so they could enjoy the festivities with their families. As a result, I was thinking of New Year's predictions.
This next week, we'll be doing a podcast where we look back at 2017 and ahead to 2018. On that, we'll make some predictions for 2018 but I thought it would be fun to hear your predictions.
With no World outdoors in 2018, what are you most looking forward to? What will be the big stories in 2018?
The one question that sadly popped into my head on my first day back after a month long paternity break was this, "Will anyone from the Alberto Salazar camp or Jama Aden camp be sanctioned in 2018?" That was literally the biggest idea that popped into my head. So I'll be watching the doping war closely in 2018 and the major marathons. I can't wait for London as it's the best in the world and then Boston should be spectacular. How great is Flanagan vs Hasay going to be? And Rupp vs the world?
