Why will the Vikings win the Super Bowl this year?

Latavius Murray is 6'3" and 230' and has a nose for the goal line!

Jet Mckinnon @ 5'9" 205' is quite the change in pace!

Remember also that outside the pocket Case Keenum is the most dangerous QB in the NFL!

The Vikings will not win a single game in the playoffs this year.

I don't like the Vikings. I like the Eagles, Rams, and Saints. I like teams that can score points.

I have no doubt the Eagles "D" will do fine; however, Nick Foles has got to step up- protect the ball/get the ball out quickly (he's been taking too many sacks lately). Plus, Doug Pederson must design a game plan to run the ball more and have Jay Ajayi carry the load at least 20 times. Fortunately, the Eagles get their starting LG Steve Wisniewski back after sitting out the last 2 games due to injury.

The Eagles are much more of a veteran team and that helps in the playoffs. Lagarrette Blount is like a coach on the field because he has won two super bowls with New England. Nick Foles is the leads the Eagles in all-time QB rating. Foles is young and certainly not done yet!

The Patriots and Steelers have more Super Bowl experience on their roster than any of the other teams.

So the winner of those two teams will win the Super Bowl.

The Vikings did win the NFL Championship in 1969 by beating the Cleveland Browns.

However they lost their first Super Bowl that year. It's been nearly 60 years since that day.

It's better to be lucky than good. Perhaps the Vikings will be both this year.

You are delusional. The Vikings are home and have the best defense in the league. Since week 5, the RB tandem of Murray/McKinnon has only been out-gained by one duo: Ingram/Kamara. Keenum does enough and avoids mistakes. The Saints certainly have the edge on offense. But the Vikings defense is so far ahead of the Saints that they have the advantage.

I actually do think the Saints could beat the Vikings, but Vikings will have a bit of an upside being a home game and having a rest week.

Home field plus rest week plus best defense by far plus efficient offense = Vikings win. The Saints are a notoriously overrated team, no surprise people here thinking they will win. Minny should be very disappointed if they don't win they super bowl! The super bowl is in their stadium as well. The only way they lose is if they beat themselves (fumbles, interceptions, bad coaching decisions). It is minny's to lose. It would be good for the NFL if the Vikes won. No one thought they could do it when the season started. The league needs parity. Fans were sick of seeing the Seahawks and Patriots all the time.
