That was a funny post! Sorry but we don't count games Keenum played for OTHER teams.

Hilarious post...10 of 10. Will you please consider the Vikings your second team?

Umm, if you are going to cherry-pick stats, at least pick correct ones. Vikings won at Chicago - Kentucky bluegrass, Washington - Latitude 36 Bermuda Grass, and against Cleveland in London (Wembley) - Desso Grassmaster (grass with artificial fibers), and only twice on the road total.
Fantastic post. I have to give you 10 of 10 as well. The one and only Eagles fan on here seems to be grabbing at straws.
You would think he would get some help as there are many eastern, western, and southern LRCers.
I actually think the Eagles do have a chance to win but they will need more luck than the Vikings!

Vikings fans should recall that the Eagles beat them last season. The Vikings have gone 3-13 in road playoff games since 1982. No. 1 seeds at home in Championship games are 28-12 straight up. Keenum's record against road teams with a winning percentage of at least .667, is only 1-4. Not to mention the Vikings are 0-3 in games played on grass and outdoors this year- soon to be 0-4 after this weekend.
History is not on your side and you're going home, devastated.

Thank you all for posting. It shows that the Vikings have many reasons why they are the best team.
Usually the best team wins in football.

Did you know that the Vikings have had four former assistant coaches go on and win a super bowl as a head coach? Mike Tomlin, Brian Billick, Pete Carroll, and Tony Dungy were at one time coaches on the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff.
Can you name an NFL team that has more former assistants who won super bowls as head coaches?
NY Giants
Belichick (5)
Parcells (2)
Coughlin (2)
Landry (2)
Lombardi (2)
Payton (1)
14 out of 51 Super Bowls
Also Viking fans remember

Landry and Lombardi were finished their careers with the Giants before the Vikings even came into existence.
So if you want to go head to head the Vikings actually have had 4 assistants to the Giants 3 during the same length of time.
Watch the video on You tube.com of the 1967 AFL Championship. Watch how in the closing seconds Daryle Lomonica of the Raiders threw a lateral, that was returned by the Jets, for a long touchdown to win the game for the Jets.
The Jets then went on to stun the Colts in Super Bowl III.
That's football.
There is nothing wrong with being a Catholic and praying. Vince Lombardi was said to have went to Mass everyday when he was in Green Bay. Johnny Unitas never missed Mass on Sunday when he was with the Colts. Other great players of other Christian religions such as Bart Starr were regular church goers.
Besides that the Vikings are playing the Eagles not the Giants on Sunday...
So your post proves nothing (although it was interesting, thank you very much).
Broncos posted this earlier and I think it's true:
"I don't know that they will win, but I'll give you a few reasons they could.
It all starts with defense. They've been battle tested against strong offense this year and have come up huge. The offense is inconsistent but solid enough to capitalize on the great field position the defense always gives them. Their RB tandem keeps the running game fresh, and their two styles are so different the defense has trouble adjusting. Just when you figure out how to fill holes and stop the downhill style of Murray, MsKinnon comes back and blows up your gap protection with his cutback style. It's not easy to see on tv but this is a real issue for defenses. Keenum isn't going to throw for 400 like Brady or Brees but that's not a negative. He doesn't need to. If Case is throwing the ball 50 times for big numbers you can be pretty sure MN is losing that game.
Whatever happens, they're going to make it really hard for whoever they play. Should be fun to watch!"

The Eagles have a 3-0 playoff record vs the Vikings since 1980. I post facts even if you prefer to reject them. The Eagles own you, they have your number. Your team will leave South Philly, devastated.

Yes , math is hard . 4 to 4 . Parcells , Belichick , Coughlin , Payton = 4 .
A Keenum led offense with a lack of a run-game is at a severe mismatch here. Shurmur’s system turns QBs into a carbon copy of one another by capping their performance to a "pretty good" level. Bradford’s 2016 statistics and Keenum’s 2017 statistics are nearly identical. The Eagles with a then struggling rookie Wentz beat this same team last year at home, and have the blueprint to do it again.
So for the Vikings offense to be successful, they need to either find some way to establish a consistently effective run-game (which the Eagles defense will shut down) or find a way to get chunk yardage in the passing game several times in each half. The Falcons failed to do that with Julio Jones, arguably the best WR in the NFL. The stadium will be extremely loud, Keenum will be facing one of the best D lines, anchored by all-world DT, Fletcher Cox & DE Brandon Graham. He will be flushed out of the pocket throughout the game and be forced to get rid of the ball quicker than he's comfortable doing. The Vikings will fail to establish a running game and that will be their doom, their offense will become one dimensional.
Foles has an array of weapons: RB Jay Ajayi, a battering ram RB LeGarrette Blount, TE Zach Ertz, WR Alshon Jeffrey and speedy slot receiver Nelson Agholor. Peterson has shown time after time, that he can dial-up creative offensive plays for big chunks of yardage.
Da birds win this game.
You do realize that Latavius Murray had more rushing yards this season than Blount, McKinnon more than Ajayi, and Thielen and Diggs had more receiving yards than any of the Eagles players you just mentioned so not sure why you think Vikings offense is so much weaker. I think it will come down to the better defense this game.
Great post man. I'm wondering where all the eastern guys are on LRC. The Vikings are getting more posts, and except for two or three posts by the supposed Eagles fans, Vikings fans actually have reasons for their team winning. In addition those supporting the Eagles generally write about one or two sentences.
Keep posting and maybe we'll tick off the eastern coast guys enough to get them to start posting for the Eagles.

Yes,
The Vikings will win because they have the hottest QB in the league. Not only did he pass for 5000 yards 3 times in college, he is 29 years old.
WSJ used to have a contest between chimpanzees and investment analysts. Chimps would throw darts at WSJ stock symbol section and investment analysts would work 16 hours a day. Some years, the chimps beat the analysts. That said, no one has ever suggested hiring chimps as investment analysts. Thinking Keenum is a good QB is like thinking chimps who beat investment analysts as stock pickers by throwing darts are superior analysts. Keenum will revert back to the mean on Sunday. Minnesota Vikings are 1-4 in road NFC Championship games. There is a reason no NCAA D1 school in a power five conference wanted Keenum. There is a reason Keenum was not drafted by any NFL team, including MN. Keenum will live down to his skills on Sunday.
When Keenum reverts back to the mean his game will change very little. He's played at his mean all year. This season he has played well in a scheme that allows him to do so. He escapes pressure and stays out of trouble. If he does this slightly better than his mean the Vikings can't lose. If he's slightly below his mean they still have a great chance of winning due to the team surrounding him. Keenum makes mistakes. He throws the occasional dumb pick. It's ok. In this Vikings scheme the Keenum you see every week is what you get, it's not changing dramatically either way.
I'm not an idiot who will guarantee victory for either team. You've got fantastic athletes and coaching staffs on both sidelines. The weather will not be a factor as it appears today. Home crowd is an advantage for Philly. Vikings offense will have its hands full with Philly D, but Philly offense may not be able to do anything against MN D. I could see it going either way, but as a Vikes fan I'll say 20-17 Vikes.
Nice job covering the "WSJ Chimp," man-to-man! That reminds me of the defense played by the Minnesota Vikings. They often play man-to-man so that they can jump in and blitz better than any team in football.
One guy we have not heard much from yet is our young defensive end Danielle (Da Neel) Hunter.
He was born in Jamaica and got a late start in American sports. He definitely has a huge upside
as after just 3 seasons at LSU he entered the NFL draft. At 6-5 and 255 he can run a 40 in 4.5 and bench press 225 pounds 25 times. This is only his 3rd year in the NFL and he is only 23 years old.
He is a typical hungry Viking and is not afraid of reaching the limelight. He did not do anything significant in the playoff game vs. the Saints. But he apparently did not make any mistakes either.
We could see him be one of the heroes in either the NFC championship or the Super Bowl.
He is due for a breakout game!

Hunter is still green and undersized, so he's not a consistent threat every down. However, as you stated he's supremely athletic, and a couple times a game he makes a game changing play. I would love to see him gets hands on a fumble or pick to show the rest of the NFL his speed and athleticism.
