I'm 16 years old and yesterday I went out for a long run, not expecting it to be fast but 5k in I felt pretty good and decided how long I could hold a decent pace and I ended up going 13.13 miles in 1:15:14. I ran on average about 80 mpw during this last cross season but I'm still in my build up phase for indoor and outdoor track and I'm at about 60 mpw in this point in my training. I'm not sure if this is really something to write home about since high schoolers don't typically run half marathons, and I'm kind of freaked out about how fast I've gotten into shape. I've only been training seriously for track for 2 weeks now. Thoughts?? (My 5k xc pr is 15:51)
