Soren was hurt which is why he didn’t go to Footlocker or NXN. Otherwise he’d have easily made it.

Who is better I'd say Knudsen so far. Mendez still has the track season so he may get closer. Both have the potential to become great. Knudsen I'd guess was coached better knowing his dad. Mendez was coach really well by BPH but he probably does not have as much training knowledge.
In college I'd say Knudsen will be better too. It is hard to argue what NAU has done lately and Knudsen's class workload is probably less than what Mendez will face at Stanford. Mendez on the other hand may just take off out there in Cali. Whitney Young may be a really good school but it is not that great of a place to run at. Palo Alto is like a runners paradise compared to Chicago so who knows. If Mendez ends up better that'd be cool.
I wish them both luck. Both seemed like very good kids when I spoke to them. I just hope they both become very successful in the NCAA and beyond.

I'll be honest I don't know the specifics. I ran against him in highschool and we follow each other on instagram. I direct messaged him a few weeks ago and asked if he was still running (I was curious because he hasn't posted any videos for a while). He responded with the following quote, "Nah man I'm done. It just wasn't for me."
I know I'm a random guy on a message board, so I understand if you don't believe me....but that is what I was told.
