Trying to mimic the training of a runner on TRT is pointless unless you are taking it yourself.
I would immediately suspect someone like the guy on the left in this photo, but Gary is the guy on the right. He does look better now 7-8 years later, and back then he was, according to a comparison of the two, RW articles ,working out harder. Maybe he was not seriously training when this photo with his club members was taken.
I have seen Gary in photos with another club for which there is a lot of scuttlebutt about members doping, and some of them have fought it out with people on these forums. Without saying anyone of them is guilty, association with this kind of smoke DOES have me doubting if I should take his training as a potential option for me. Not that I have anything to lose by just testing it with not too much hope. Still , details about these everyday and twice a day strength training would be interesting to know.
It's not so much his times, because I can't be world class, but a solid athletic/exercising lifestyle in sport of choice, high fitness with no injuries, has a lot of intrigue.
On the flip side, if any of them are on anti-aging regimens maybe we are all going to be proved to be stupid for not following them just on quality of life angles? Just being able to do stuff?
