I'll explain it to you: people on message boards write messages in seconds without caring about how they spell, if they use correct punctuation or grammar, etc. It's because they don't care.
I always laugh at this ridiculous excuse. People that can't spell always think that they will be able to appear that they *can* spell, but of course, they are just "in a hurry" or "don't care." :)
I'll explain it to you: No, you aren't using incorrect grammar and spelling because you are "in a hurry" or "don't care." How do I know that? Because if you actually knew how to spell and use correct grammar, you would have to go out of your way to spell words incorrectly. It would be a conscious decision. Think about it, you retard.
That’s not true. Sorry ur all butt hurt, idiot. Guess he burned ya bad. Hahhahhaha. Go talk 2 ur caregiver.
Shows once again how speed does not go faster with age than endurance. Guido Müller the fast old 400m man ran a 59 when he was 70 and still could do 62 when he was 75. 62 is equivalent ability to a 2:16 800, which is worth about a 5 flat mile.
Yeah, right...like what "mental issues?"

Muscle loss is probably the single greatest cause of slower speed as you age, so his focus on strength and speed with weights, hill repeats, and 200s/400s being just about all of his workouts outside of cross training (he also does 1200s), is right on the money. I don't know if he does take testosterone to build muscle but this is what many overlook. I have never even concentrate on these shorter workouts and it has cost my 800/mile times because I almost never run even 400s ahead of 3k pace.
Older athletes using TRT? That doesn't happen....does it? ?

Damn, I'm a youngster of 60 but I think this dude would beat me in a mile.
I'll smoke him in a half marathon however, as he's low mileage.
Damn...you sound like some of those arrogant cats on the 50+ masters training forum. And if a low-mileage 60 yr old cat smokes you in a HM, then what are you going to say, uh? ???
This cat can still run with the big dawgs!

rjm33's OCD/Turette's officially triggered. Prep the rubber room.
Paul Perry is his rival, is a year older at 72, mile time about second slower, around 5:27. One of the best master runners out there. I use to train with him regularly ten years ago(15 yrs younger). He didn't run every day either nor did he put in a lot miles. Two things I remember about his training, he would run at least one long run every ten days or so (around 15 miles), and he loved go to track to do his favorite workout.....20 x 200 with a 200 walk.....btw.....he would take about hour just to warm up before the work out. His 200 average was around 37 with his fastest around 31, but this was at age 62, back then.

Ooh. Someone's got a hurt vagina. Listen - we get your whole "this is a message board, who cares about grammar?" argument, flimsy though it is. However, you'd think that a message board about running would be frequented by people who knew how to use Run and Ran correctly. Or perhaps you wouldn't, given you have low standards, but a very high horse.
100% agree

Do you see having a vagina as a weakness? Is that your point? You are a loser.
The OP used "run" correctly in the header and then used "ran" twice in the body, once correctly and once incorrectly. I understand the grammar police's only chance for personal sexual gratification is spotting errors, but there's equal probability that it was just a spelling mistake. I'd be willing to bet it was carelessness. "Oh no, the OP was careless"... but, whatever, I'm not trying to stop the grammar police from being able to masturbate over this, I know how shitty their little lives are, so, go for it losers, go for it.
Hahahaha!

Of course he sees it as a weakness, since he never gets any p*ssy.

^this is correct. The reality is for the most part people are just careless on here. Which makes sense when you consider the venue and that people are posting quickly and not reviewing posts. The "grammar police" have an odd inferiority complex thing going on where they need to believe that people only make mistakes because they do not know the correct usage/spelling etc., it can't just be a mistake otherwise the grammar police wouldn't have superior knowledge. It is so sad. In reality they are just catching people out on mistakes and using that to combat their feelings of inferiority. In the end they just come across as petty little people. Can you imagine a life where you scour anonymous message boards for spelling/grammar mistakes? These are the people who in real life you avoid like the plague. Horrible people.
underwaterrunner,
You sure assume a lot.
Petty little people who scour anonymous message boards for spelling mistakes?
I may be petty, but I'm not little and I don't scour message boards. In fact this is the only message board I scour. For some of us (probably old farts like me) a misuse or misspelled word jumps off the page like a pimple.
The English language is worth preserving.

I didn´t know that being old was so incredibly boring that you have don´t have anything better to do than correcting grammar and spelling.
