I have a pair of dumbbells. I wonder if it's a good idea to use one of them for massaging in addition to a tennis ball and foam roller.
They are rectangular, hard and "rollable". My concern, though, is that they may just be too hard.
Any thoughts?

There might be a problem in that there lies the potential for capillaries and blood vessels to be crushed.
I've seen Olympic Weightlifter using a barbell as a foam roller...
