So, I'm a junior that just came out of a rough cross country season but had a decent finish to it. I had a great freshman year posting times of 57, 2:10.5, 4:45, and 10:46. My xc season wasn't as great. I was about a 19 minute 3-miler.
Sophomore seasons were pretty bad. I was about a 17:15 guy in a 3 mile for cross. I got injured after that due to not knowing how to train. I ran slow times indoor and then missed half of outdoor. I ended up running 57, 2:10 two different times (pr'ed with 2:10.3), 4:56 (felt like I could've run about 7 seconds faster), and 10:47 (ran the last mile and a quarter completely alone in the lead). I also ran a 200 just for fun and ran 26.19.
Junior year has gone okay but not great. I was hoping to be a sub-16 guy but only got to 16:29. Didn't have a single meet where I felt good about how I did until my last two races. Also ran a 10k late in the summer. 37:09
So as a guy with 26.19 second 200m and 57 second 400m speed as well as 16:30 and 37:00 5k and 10k times, how fast could I run in the 800/1600/3200 for both indoor and outdoor track? I'm really hoping that this season will be like my freshman year when I was much better at track than at cross country. I've got some goals written down but I want to hear what you guys think so I know how realistic those goals are.
