No it doesn't. It looks good in the part that you manually entered, and then it had the issues discussed when you used the quote function.

i see what you mean now. replaces the closing i tag with a u tag instead and an opening u tag with an i tag.
it is a problem with the regular expression and its grouping matched replacement(s). likely a simple fix.
