Hi, I was just looking for a little advice on running shoes. I am currently running in the adidas Supernova ST, but I'm looking for something a bit different. I am a slight to moderate overpronator, and the Supernova ST is a pretty good fit for me, but I'm looking for something that's gonna really push me forward. I tried a short "test run" in two pairs of Hokas (Arahi and Clifton 4) and I could really feel the difference. I was almost sad to lace up my adidas again. However, I recently found out about Altra, and the more I'm finding out about them, the more I like about them. I've still got a few hundred miles left on the Supernova STs, but I can't help but think about making the change to a better shoe. In general, I'm looking for something that will maximize my potential and push me forward. Some main features I am looking for are a low heel-to-toe drop, adequate cushioning, light weight, and preferably, good energy return. However, the most important factor for me is appropriate stability for moderate overpronation and low arches. If you have any recommendations for Hoka vs Altra, or anything else, please let me know. Thanks!
(ON shoes seem pretty cool as well. However, I am unsure about the heel-to-toe drop or stability features.)
