Yeah? I don't get the question? 90%+ of runners will call it this.

Closer to 100% ill still call it that.
They're probably referring to increased hydrogen concentration irritating nerve endings in muscles.
If you want to test it out fast, hop on a leg extension machine and load a weight you can handle around 8 times. After you go to fatigue, drop the stack immediately a plate or two and continue to fatigue again. Repeat without break around 3 more times. You'll probably vomit. And it will burn like crazy. Not from lactic acid though. From unfavorable pH.

The above is not what I originally posted. I mean I just don't get it LRC.
You guys are a bit like the AD who does not understand cross country and track & field.
do a burnout of split squats as fast as you can for a minute on each leg. Take a minute break between a set, (1 set is a minute on each leg) and you will feel a burn.
The point is that some nerds are eager to point out what the burn is actually from.
The actual explanation just doesn't have the same punch though.
And it makes you look like a dbag.

Not even close. Knowing what actually causes the burn doesn't change anything.

" I WAN'T YOU TO FEEL THE INCREASED HYDROGEN CONCENTRATION IRRITATE YOUR NERVE EDNDINGS! GIVE ME 10 MORE!"

***Wow now I'm getting lactic acid head on the brain trying to figure out how you got confused about what my post was about. I was complaining that LRC changed my original post. It had nothing whatsoever to do with the question! It was about LRC changing my words.
Get it???
Texas Coach had the right answer and made everyone else 100% smarter for reading it.
Thx. Had the word ion in there and it somehow was deleted. Oh well.
