more like massively overweight. What a huge waste of god given talent.
She probably underachieved by going out so fast. Her lead at the mile was similar to her winning margin at the end. She goes out 5-10 seconds slower in the first mile and maybe she breaks 17.

Yeah, and she died off in the second half like Drew did. Though not as bad.
Woohoo here comes the boy's race!

The broadcast of this race was FANTASTIC!!!
First, it wasn't behind a paywall. They did a great job of going between the leader and the pack. They gave all the splits as they happened. They not only showed all the runners finishing, they showed their times and names as they crossed the line. Just a great job.
I enjoyed the broadcast. I agree they did a good job going back and forth between the leader and the pack. We should all look for ways to perform better including anyone's coverage of races. I like that they showed all the runners crossing the finish line rather than following the winner after she crossed the finish line and ignoring all the other runners coming in to the finish. One think I noticed though it the finisher list was stuck on the first seven far too long--maybe there was a issue with the data being held up by the timing company. The other area for improvement is that the announcers stop naming runners coming across the finish far too early. Could they not make our their names as they were coming in?
people keep following it off course

He got into weightlifting. Check his Instagram. Also seems like a douche-bro.
Dylan jacobs being passed by Daniel Kilrea, neither is backing down though. A pedestrian 4:55 first mile is now turning just like NXN did as the field was bunched for the first mile and now it’s being spread
Dylan Jacobs with 2 different colored shoes on has taken lead in 9:48 at 2 miles.
Shorts over tights trying to win FL!!!!!!!
What happened to the mile splits. I saw 8 thru 14 but not 1 through 7. For some prior splits, including the girls race, it seemed that 1 through 7, was displayed just briefly. It went on to the other runners before I could make out the top seven. 8 through the rest of the field seemed to have been displayed much longer.
Mile 2 of the boys race was displayed the splites for 1 through 7 much longer but the rest of the field did not have their 2 mile split shown.
I still think it was a good broadcast but there were a few areas where it could have been better.

Haven’t seen the logo but I’m pretty sure it’s just the pair of Brooks XC spikes that tons of people use.
Dalton Hengst reminds me of Mikey brannigan mixed with Daniel Kilrea.
Jacobs seems to have gotten over his sickness!!
