I'm just glad Jacobs made it. Midwest region is really strong this year! He coulda been the next champ (still could be but hasn't been looking as good as he did when he won Midwest last year) but it's a shame he got sick.

Another thing I'm disappointed about is that Anne Forsyth isn't returning. After being 5th last year I was expecting her to try and challenge for 2nd but she didn't qualify this year and was only 18th at the state meet (her worst performance ever at MIS) after running a nation-leading 16:56(?) at the beginning of the season. Shame.

Claudia seemed a little sick because of the air quality before she left for San Diego so I really hope that wont affect her performance today. Rooting for her to get the record!

Guys race will be very interesting, no idea who is going to step up like Reed Brown did last year with that kick at the end.

I just wish he'd run a smart race and not lead in the first mile. Seems like a great kid that needs to learn how to race others that are as good as him.

Air quality in Malibu is currently clear, so hopefully she will be fine for her race this morning.

these air quality maps are notoriously inaccurate during fires. when we had the last fires move through the air quality maps suggested the air was good where the actual fire was.

Is anyone else having the YouTube stream image freeze while audio continues?

Any suggestions to repair this?
