Clearly a problem with minorities feeling justified to claim “racism” instead to taking responsibility for their own actions.
It's amazing there are still such stupid people as you around in this modern world.
Two people claiming racism makes me listen.
That's an upper middle class income level right there sorry. It's not even quite top1% income levels In USA (~389k in 2016). If you have to put your children through 4 year private school that works well enough but doesn't put you in a funder category. The kid may have some temporary assistance but will still have to find his/her way. Trustfunder means there's a pool and an advisor involved and they are listed as a beneficiary with certain stipulations as to how the monies get distributed.
By the way most people in Highlands Ranch voted for Trump (Douglas County). It's the well off republican area of colorado, so why do you say "115% vote Democrat?" Im friends with people there, it's not a place I'd like to live, but thankfully everyone is different.
Jared Borowski (2nd in D-3 Cross Country this year), now of North Central, also left Colorado after last season. I have no idea what made him leave specifically, but I agree that something newsworthy is definitely going on with this program.

Youre all morons. You dont know what happened so you both cant claim anything. Actually, this whole thread is completely moronic. Can we get some news on what happened first? You guys are like teenage girls, always so springy and jumping at the latest gossip and rumor. Both of you STFU
You need to stop picking on teenage girls!
M!ndweak and others, from what I understand of the situation, joedirt gives the most accurate description of the alleged racist incident. Unfortunately, some of the less intellectually gifted members of the CU team don’t understand that when a coach tries to dumb things down and tell you that ‘you shouldn’t call a woman a _______ because that is just as bad as calling someone from a certain ethnic group a _______’ doesn’t mean that the coach is a racist.
But, many people on these boards don’t care about the truth and would prefer to bash highly successful coaches at a highly successful program.

Plus, Mark Wetmore's comments about the New Mexico women (about 2 years ago) were cruel. You know, a team of foreigners. Makes me wonder what the "atmosphere" is at CU.
Preach

Sounds good. I am glad that they've taken a good stance but it's too bad as it appears the CU kid in question took things the wrong way.

This thread is six pages in and I still haven't seen an explanation for what the supposed racist comments/actions were or who/what committed them.
But for whatever reason, they're quickly removed.

You're the type of guy that would solve the racist problems at CU by having "Taco Night" once a month for all of the CU runners.
Someone said “He is a tool” because of his Instagram posts, so I guess posting an appreciation post about Veterans Day thanking his own dad and other troops is being a tool?

CU is very bad, very very bad.
I was de-pantsed on Magnolia Rd., whilst on a long run.

I'm the one who said that. Just because you have one nice post doesn't mean you're not a tool. Look at the rest of his posts, he is a self absorbed narcissist.
It never made me quit. I hear, read etc. racist and ethnic slurs everyday against me and others like me.
Well, for one thing, since White make up only about 8% of the world population due to their own doing such as not having children, race mixing and being stupid enough to feed nations starving and therefore getting those people to actually have more babies just like them that need even more saving, it won't take long for them to die off and be mixed out.
So just because he posts up photos of pretty much what everyone else on IG does, friends, family, selfies, means he’s a self obsorbed narcissist? Everyone who is on IG must be that way as well because that is what you are implying. Lmao
You still aren’t getting it. If he’s telling the truth then i applaud him for not going along with it anymore. The problem is painting everyone with the same broad stroke of being racist. He may not feel that way, but to everyone else who doesn’t know the details it appears it can be anyone and everyone, which is why people are suggesting this is slanderous. Suddenly everyone at CU is guilty. If you’re going to post something like this online why would you make it so veiled? If they don’t want to give details online that’s understandable, but if that’s the case they should talk with authorities that can make a difference for future student-athletes rather than make their credibility questionable. I agree i don’t get to choose how people handle discrimination, but most people also agree Rocha and Capetillo have made themselves look like foolish children, which is all the more unfortunate if their claims are valid. If someone wants to run 200 miles a week to train for the 800 that’s their choice, but it’s also a stupid choice if they want to be taken seriously.
