I have a female co-worker who has the same job covering the same area as me. We get paid the same, no one is boss over the other. We know what needs to be done and we just divide up the tasks.
Here's the problem, although she works as hard as me, she manipulates her way out of any stressful tasks. We had one day of scheduled meetings where we had to say some unpopular things to many small groups of people. For this one, we agreed to do all the meetings together. (I Encouraged this)
The day before all our meetings, she tells me she has too much on her plate and can't do the meetings with me. I was a little ticked off and called her out on it. She gets all stressed out, looked like she was going to cry.
I stupidly told her not to worry about it that I would do them. I am not going to any superior about this because I don't that. I will have to keep doing the stressful unpopular stuff.
(I am older than her if that makes a difference)
